- provides crisis intervention counseling, referrals, support and assistance
- assistance for men in finding specialized services such as: addiction services, mental health, medical services, private or pastoral counseling, legal assistance or a variety of other local services
- provides peer support to men; an opportunity to "check in" from time to time

Children's Outreach and Violence Prevention Education

- counseling, advocacy and education services for children and youth
- program is delivered through two strands: one-on-one child support, and school presentations
- the mother may choose to have the Children's Outreach Co-ordinator meet with her child(ren) during their time in the Shelter
- any parent in southwest Saskatchewan who has a child who is struggling may choose to access this service
- presentations are delivered at schools upon invitation
- school presentation topics include: boundaries, bullying, conflict resolution, dating violence, friendship, healthy relationships, peer pressure
